House rules

Dear vacationers!
​Our apartments & studios should be a second home to you. You should feel comfortable and be able to relax. We have put a lot of effort into the furnishings and hope that you will find everything you need. The following house rules are intended to help you enjoy a harmonious stay. We have also listed some rules which we hope you will understand. By treating the apartment properly, you will help us to offer you and other guests satisfactory accommodation in the future.

General

If you are missing anything in the furnishings or if you need help, please contact us at any time. All items in the apartment/studio or on the balcony or terrace may and should be used by the guests. Please handle all furnishings and fixtures with care and treat the rental property with care. Please ensure that your fellow travelers also comply with the rental conditions.

In the stairwell on the first floor you can move around with street shoes and ski boots, up and down stairs and in the apartments please use slippers, we will provide you with slippers in different sizes if required.

Winter

In winter, there is a ski room on the first floor where you can store your winter sports equipment and dry your ski and snowboard boots. For proper drying, you should always place your ski boots on the dryer in the ski room with the toes facing upwards. The dryer is not intended for ski helmets etc. - we accept no liability for damage caused by incorrect or improper use.


In winter we provide sledges, bobsleighs and sliding cushions etc. for tobogganing - please put them back properly afterwards - thank you! The farm roads around the farm can be used as a toboggan run at your own risk in good snow conditions - children should only toboggan under your supervision.

Summer

In summer, you can use the private pool on request if you are confirmed to be able to swim. Children must be supervised even if they are able to swim! In the outdoor area there is also a sunbathing lawn as well as play and leisure equipment such as a trampoline and table tennis table.

Our farmhouse is equipped with numerous flower boxes on the balconies - these must be maintained and watered (daily) during the warm months. We therefore ask you to arrange when this can be done by your host Eva. In the Rettenstein apartment, it is also necessary to enter the apartment.

Bicycles can be stored as theft-proof as possible after consultation with us. Please charge electric bikes/batteries only after consultation - thank you!

Sauna

You can book our private sauna for your apartment/studio at certain times for a small fee. You will find towels there if required - please throw them on the floor in the utility room afterwards - thank you!

Duty of care

We ask our guests to treat the rental property with care and to ensure that fellow travelers also comply with the rental conditions. The entrance door should always be closed. All windows must also be closed when leaving the apartment to avoid possible damage caused by storms or burglary. Water and electricity resources must be used sparingly.

The balcony furniture and cushions belonging to the studio/apartment are of course at your disposal, please secure them in case of storms, rain, snow and bad weather - thank you!

Kitchen

Please treat the kitchen equipment and technical appliances with care. As nobody likes a dirty kitchen, please only put dishes, pots and cutlery in the cupboards when they are clean and dry. Please do not place hot pots and other hot objects on the tables or worktop without a trivet. Always use a chopping board as a base when cutting. Please leave the interior of the oven and microwave clean.

Damage

Nobody damages things on purpose, but it can happen to anyone that something gets broken. We would be pleased if you would inform us of the damage caused so that we do not only discover it after your departure during the final cleaning. The tenant is liable for grossly negligent damage in the amount of the replacement costs.

Waste disposal

Waste is separated into residual waste, glass, paper, compost and yellow waste. Appropriate bins are available in your apartment/studio. Please only use garbage cans and cosmetic bins in the bathroom with bin liners and dispose of them sealed in the residual waste garbage can. No waste, leftover food or harmful liquids or similar may be thrown into the kitchen sink, toilets, washbasins or showers! Avoid anything that can lead to blockages in the pipes (no hygiene articles in the toilet).

Waste must be disposed of separately on departure - marked waste bins are available in the garage next to the house entrance. If you are unsure about waste separation, please ask us.

Ventilate

To avoid the formation of mold or odors in the wooden furniture, we ask you to ventilate the rooms sufficiently, at least once a day for 5-10 minutes and especially after showering.

Cleaning

Should a mishap occur (extreme dirt, liquids on the floor or work surfaces, etc.), we ask you to clean it up immediately. The apartment must be left swept clean on departure, please put dishes and cutlery in the cupboards as clean as you found them - thank you!

Rest periods

In the interests of good neighborliness, we ask you to observe the quiet times such as midday, night and Sunday rest. Out of consideration, quiet should also be maintained in the vacation apartment itself between 10 p.m. and 7 a.m.

WLAN

Free WLAN is available in your apartment/studio. You will find the access code in the apartment/studio. You use the internet at your own risk, the landlord excludes any liability in connection with the tenant's use of the internet.

Smoker

Smoking is prohibited in the entire accommodation. Please remember to collect and properly dispose of cigarette butts in the outdoor area (our cows are non-smokers).

Pets

Pets are not permitted without the express permission of the landlord.

Parking facilities

Vehicles can be parked directly in the yard. The landlord is not liable for loss of or damage to motor vehicles parked on the property or their contents, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

Domestic authority

If repairs are needed immediately, it may be necessary for the landlord to enter the vacation apartment without the guest's knowledge.

Keys

You will receive two keys for your apartment/studio upon check-in. Please never give the keys out of your hand, any loss of the keys must be reported immediately and the guest is liable up to the amount of the replacement costs. Please leave the two keys to the apartment on the table on departure.

Liability

The landlord is not liable for valuables belonging to the guest(s).

Arrival and departure

Check-in from 16:00 - if you arrive after 18:00, please inform us in good time if this is possible. An earlier arrival can only be made possible in exceptional cases - not on the same day if there is a change of guests - as the final cleaning always takes many hours.

We ask you to inform us of your departure time the evening before and to settle all bills, e.g. for the sauna or local tax. On the day of departure we ask you to vacate the apartment/studio by 10:00 am at the latest. On your departure, the apartment should look exactly as you found it. If possible, please do not forget any provisions in the cupboards, fridges and freezer compartments. If you remove the bed linen, please stack them folded in the same way as the towels - but it is not necessary to remove them!
By booking the apartment, we assume that the house rules are accepted. Thank you for your attention.
